Polyterra ™ PLA is a new environmental generation of Polymaker filamers, which is designed from the ground up to be environmentally friendly. It is a combination of organic minerals and PLA, which significantly reduces the plastic content and creates more environmentally friendly print material.

This material prints just like PLA, so you won't have to change any print settings. In addition, in some properties (such as bridging or overhang), it achieves better results than classic PLA. The resulting print has a beautifully matt surface, which better hides the layer line.

Polyterra ™ mechanical properties offer a wide range of potential applications because the material is harder than conventional PLA, but also maintains the same stiffness as PolyMax PLA. The extraordinary toughness of this material allows you to print anything from figures to various accessories. It is also characterized by very easy removal of support.

All this allows you to move the boundaries of your prints and create increasingly complex models that are functional, durable and matt. The resulting prints can be easily grinded.

Polyterra ™ is wound on a fully recycled cardboard coil. Recycled boxes and labels are also used for product packaging. Information sheet and leaflets can only be found online to reduce the volume of waste.

For each coil sold, Polymaker will plant one tree to reduce the carbon footprint after the production of this product. Once the tree has reached adulthood, it has the ability to soak up 22 kg of carbon dioxide every year to balance the 4 kg needed to create a Polyterra ™.
